Semarang, June 24th 2026 – I Made Chandra Mandira, a student of the Tourism Doctoral Program at the Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), participated in the 15th Engineering International Conference (EIC) 2026, organized by Universitas Negeri Semarang. The conference was conducted in a hybrid format, taking place at Aruss Hotel Semarang and via Zoom Video Conference.
Participation in this international conference provided an opportunity to broaden academic perspectives, stay informed on the latest research developments, and establish professional networks with academics and researchers from various institutions. EIC 2026 featured a wide range of research topics in engineering and sustainable development, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and innovation.
I Made Chandra Mandira, as a participant, attended a series of scientific sessions, engaged in discussions with researchers, and gained valuable insights to support the development of his doctoral research on the impacts of environmental degradation and built environment strategies in addressing the phenomenon of overtourism in Badung, Bali.
