The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPS UGM) participated in RailwayTech Indonesia 2026, the largest international railway exhibition in the ASEAN region, held on 28th – 30th July 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta. During the event, SPS UGM collaborated with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UGM, to introduce its diverse graduate study programs to exhibition visitors.

SPS UGM, with the UGM exhibition booth, presented information on its master and doctoral programs. Visitors, including practitioners, academics, students, government representatives, and industry professionals, had the opportunity to engage in direct discussions on academic program options, graduate admissions, and potential opportunities for collaboration.

Participation in RailwayTech Indonesia 2026 served as one of SPS UGM’s strategic initiatives to broaden its academic outreach to interested parties in the advancement of science and technology. Beyond promoting its educational programs, the exhibition also provided a valuable platform for establishing networks with stakeholders in the transportation, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

The collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering reflected UGM’s commitment to provide closely aligned higher education with the needs of the professional world. Through its participation in RailwayTech Indonesia 2026, the UGM Graduate School hopes to strengthen its public recognition as a multidisciplinary graduate institution that produces high-quality, innovative graduates capable of contributing to national and global development challenges.
