Yogyakarta, July 25th 2025 — The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has demonstrated its commitment to promoting the health of the academic community by actively participating as a cadre in Posbindu (Integrated Health Post). This activity is a monthly collaboration of the Health Promoting University (HPU) UGM and the Integrated Health Services Bureau. The July edition Posbindu was held at the UGM Library and Archives Building.

This month Posbindu offered an additional service: consultation for transferring BPJS Health First-Level Health Facility (FKTP). Through this service, participants could directly consult their FKTP transfer to university-affiliated health facilities, such as the Gadjah Mada Medical Center (GMC) or Korpagama Clinic, in order to receive more optimal healthcare services.

There are also basic health checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and anthropometry. The participants also received health education and guidance from Posbindu cadres representing various units within UGM, including from the Graduate School.

One of the cadres from the Graduate School, Fika, expressed her joy and pride in being directly involved in the activity.

“I feel grateful to meet and network with colleagues from various faculties and units at UGM. It was not only an inter-unit gathering but also a chance to gain new insights on health and reflect on the importance of maintaining life balance,” said Fika.

The Graduate School of UGM, through its active involvement in this program, continues to strengthen its institutional role in creating a healthy, resilient, and empowered campus, in line with the Health Promoting University initiative. This activity also serves as concrete evidence of the Graduate School’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of health and cross-sector collaboration.
