Yogyakarta, February 28th 2026 — The warm and joyful atmosphere marked the iftar gathering organized by the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM). The event served as a meaningful moment to strengthen bonds and foster a sense of togetherness among the SPs UGM community.

The gathering was attended by leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff, and took place in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. SPs UGM aimed, with this iftar event, creating a space for togetherness that will strengthen relationships among members of the academic community and also reinforcing values of unity and harmony during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event, in addition to being a moment to share happiness, also provided an opportunity for members of the academic community to greet one another and strengthen relationships beyond daily academic activities. The warm interactions among participants reflected the strong spirit of kinship within the SPs UGM community.

The iftar gathering was not merely an annual agenda, but also a means to strengthen solidarity, mutual respect, and relationships among members of the campus community. SPs UGM hopes that the values of togetherness, tolerance, and social care will continue to grow within the campus environment, creating a harmonious and inclusive academic atmosphere.

The event concluded with a collective prayer followed by the breaking of the fast together, enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
