Yogyakarta, August 29th 2025 — The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Gadjah Mada participated in and enlivened the opening ceremony of the 76th Anniversary of Universitas Gadjah Mada, held at the UGM Central Office Courtyard, Bulaksumur, Yogyakarta. This annual celebration served as an important moment strengthening fellowship, fostering a spirit of togetherness, and affirmed UGM’s long journey as a national university that consistently contributes to the nation.

The opening ceremony took place from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., attended by unit leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students from various faculties and schools within UGM. The presence of SPs UGM at this event reflected full support for the university’s 76th anniversary celebration. In an atmosphere of kinship, all participants enthusiastically showed their unity by wearing outfits in shades of green, yellow, and white, symbolizing the spirit of togetherness.

The SPs UGM’s participation in the 76th Anniversary celebration is ceremonial and symbolizes active involvement in preserving academic traditions, strengthening solidarity, and supporting the development of interdisciplinary knowledge. The presence of SPs leaders, lecturers, and staff underscored a spirit of collaboration and pride as part of the larger Universitas Gadjah Mada family.
