The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) held the final presentation of the 2025 Young Lecturer Mandate Research Grant on Wednesday (26/11) at the West Wing Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Unit 1 Building of SPs UGM. The event was attended by three recipients of the grant: Agung Diang Kharisma, S.Pd.Si., M.Biotech., Ph.D.; Ahmad Suparmin, S.P., M.Agr., Ph.D.; and Dr. Priyaji Agung Pambudi, S.Pd., M.Si.

During the session, each young lecturer presented their research achievements, findings, and post-research development plans. The presentations were delivered before reviewers, providing evaluations and recommendations for further refinement of the research outputs.

The Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration of SPs UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., stated that the grant serves as institutional support to accelerate the academic career progression of young lecturers.

“This mandate grant is awarded to three young lecturers of the Graduate School of UGM to motivate them to obtain the functional academic position of lecturer. Through this grant, we hope they will be more productive in generating scientific works,” he said.

The 2025 Young Lecturer Mandate Research Grant is an output-based grant, in which the research outputs serve as the main indicators of program success. These outputs also contribute in achieving the Performance Target Indicators (TCK) of SPs UGM. The required outputs include a Three Minute Thesis (3MT) video, media coverage, and a scientific article.

All three grant recipients expressed their strong commitment in producing high-quality academic publications. They are highly motivated to publish their research articles in reputable international journals indexed in Q1 or Q2.

This final presentation marks the conclusion of the 2025 grant cycle and serves as a moment of evaluation and reinforcement of SPs UGM’s commitment in promoting productivity and academic capacity development among young lecturers.
