The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM), in collaboration with IDP Education, held a Free Trial IELTS Test on Tuesday, October 28th 2025, at the 5th Floor Auditorium of SPs UGM.
The event was attended by 30 students from various study programs within SPs UGM. Due to limited slots, the participants were selected students who had registered early. The test was conducted smoothly and orderly from 08:20 AM to 12:00 PM (WIB), covering the three main components of the IELTS: Listening, Reading, and Writing.
Participants, with this activity, had the opportunity to experience firsthand the official format of the internationally recognized IELTS test. This event also served as a platform for students to assess their English proficiency before taking the official test administered by international institutions such as IDP Education.
This initiative aligns with SPs UGM’s commitment in achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education, as well as promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
As part of Universitas Gadjah Mada’s broader commitment to implementing the SDGs at both national and global levels, SPs UGM consistently promotes various academic initiatives, research activities, and strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving the SDG targets. The Free Trial IELTS Test, SPs UGM continues to strengthen its role in developing high-quality, competitive, and globally minded human resources.
