Yogyakarta, November 10th 2025 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) proudly achieved another remarkable milestone by securing 3rd place in the Badminton Tournament for UGM’s 76th Anniversary Celebration. The SPs team earned this achievement after a series of spirited and sportsmanlike matches held at GOR Lembah UGM.

This annual sports event involved various faculties and administrative units within UGM as part of the series of activities commemorating the university’s 76th anniversary. Through this competition, the spirit of togetherness, sportsmanship, and collaboration among the academic community was strengthened.

The SPs team showcased a solid performance from the preliminary rounds. With strong teamwork and well-prepared strategies, the team advanced to the semifinals and proudly claimed 3rd place.

The Chief of the SPs UGM Administration Office, Ika Krisnadewi, S.Psi., M.Sc., expressed her appreciation for the team’s achievement. “We are very proud of the enthusiasm and teamwork demonstrated by the SPs team on the court. This victory proved that unity and sportsmanship can bring joyful results. More than just an achievement, it reflects the solidarity and positive energy of the SPs UGM family,” she said.

This accomplishment served as motivation for all members of the SPs community to continue actively participating in university activities—not only in academics but also in sports and character development. “May this winning spirit inspire everyone at SPs to keep striving for excellence and to maintain a spirit of collaboration in every step,” concluded Ika Krisnadewi.

This victory reaffirmed the Graduate School of UGM’s commitment in supporting activities to strengthen camaraderie and foster shared values within the Universitas Gadjah Mada community.
