Yogyakarta, October 18th 2025 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) conducted Pos Pembinaan Terpadu (Posbindu) activities along with fitness and nutrition tests as part of the 2025 SPs UGM Family Gathering series. The event took place in the back courtyard of the Graduate School and was attended by lecturers, administrative staff, and members of the extended SPs UGM community.

The Posbindu and fitness-nutrition activities demonstrate SPs UGM’s strong commitment to maintain and improve the health of its academic community. This activity enables participants to check their basic health indicators, including blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol levels, body mass index (BMI), and physical fitness levels.

Dean Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., in her remarks, stated that the activity serves not only as a means to strengthen togetherness but also to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. “Family Gathering is not only a moment to strengthen bonds among us but also an opportunity to take care of our health and fitness, so that we can remain productive and happy,” she said.

Through this activity, SPs UGM reaffirms its commitment to creating a healthy, harmonious, and productive work environment. Moreover, the initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, which promotes physical and mental well-being for all members of the academic community.
