The prestigious Indonesia International Education and Training Expo (IIETE) was held, attracting strong enthusiasm from visitors. The four-day event, taking place on February 12th–15th 2026, was held at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, South Jakarta.
On this occasion, the Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) actively participated to expand the scope of collaboration in the field of education. Thousands of students, parents, teachers, and education practitioners filled the exhibition area to explore information on higher education, both domestically and internationally. The event was also attended by various universities across Indonesia as well as international course institutions.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors showed great enthusiasm by visiting various university booths to directly consult about study programs, admission requirements, selection pathways, and scholarship opportunities.
Universitas Gadjah Mada was among the most visited institutions. Students actively inquired about flagship programs, graduate career prospects, and opportunities for research collaboration and community service. These interactions not only broadened prospective students’ insights into study options but also strengthened networks of higher education institutions and the wider community.
UGM also welcomed professionals interested in pursuing master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) degrees, as well as institutions keen to develop research collaborations. With its multidisciplinary expertise, SPs UGM became one of the main destinations, particularly for prospective students who are currently working and planning to continue their higher education.
It is hoped that this event will make information about study programs at SPs UGM more accessible to the broader public. In addition, SPs UGM remains committed in contributing to the university’s tridharma—education, research, and community service—in order to develop knowledge with strong potential to advance Indonesia’s national development.
