The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) participated in the Commemoration Ceremony of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, held on Monday, August 17th 2026, at Balairung UGM.

The ceremony was held solemnly and attended by UGM leaders and members of the academic community. The presence of the UGM Graduate School community reflected a shared spirit in commemorating this historic moment of independence and reaffirming its commitment to continuously contributing to the nation and the country.

The 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia served as an important moment to reflect on the values of struggle, unity, mutual cooperation, and service, which formed the foundation for building Indonesia.

The UGM Graduate School, in the spirit of Independence, remains committed to strengthening the role of higher education in developing outstanding human resources, promoting interdisciplinary knowledge, and making meaningful contributions to society and national development.

Participation in the ceremony also represented the spirit of togetherness among the UGM community in commemorating 81 years of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
