Yogyakarta, June 26th, 2026 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) organized its regular group exercise activity as part of its ongoing commitment to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen solidarity of the members of its academic community.

The activity began with participants traveling to Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) using the Trans UGM campus shuttle service. The use of campus transportation reflected UGM’s commitment to providing convenient and environmentally friendly mobility within the university area.

Upon arriving at GSP, participants engaged in physical activities based on their individual preferences. Some chose to run around the campus, while others enjoyed a leisurely walk on UGM green and peaceful surroundings. The event was carried out with enthusiasm and high spirits, reflecting SPs UGM’s commitment to foster a culture of health and well-being in the workplace.

Participants, following the exercise session,  gathered at the canteen of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) UGM for a short break. They were enjoying refreshments and the gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and build closer communication among staff members outside their daily work routines.

The event concluded with a group walk from the FISIPOL area back to the Graduate School building. This final activity symbolized togetherness and encouraged participants to incorporate regular physical activity into their daily lives.

This regular exercise program showed  SPs UGM commitment to create a healthy, productive, and harmonious working environment. Simple activities such as walking and running together are expected to become positive habits that contribute to physical well-being, maintain fitness, and strengthen collaboration and also solidarity among members of the academic community.
