Yogyakarta – Graduate School (SPs) UGM in collaboration with the Central Library of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) held a workshop on E-Content and Reference Management Tool at the Auditorium of the Postgraduate Building, on Thursday (26/9/19).

This worksop was opened by Dr. Hilda Ismail, Apt., M.Si. Deputy Dean for Academic, Student and Cooperation Affairs by conveying his hopes regarding the importance of E-Content and Reference Management Tool today. Dr. Hilda said that as a graduate student, the ability to write good scientific works is needed, therefore Dr. Hilda hopes that the material from the UGM Central Library can have a very beneficial impact.

The first material was delivered by Safirotu Khoir, Ph.D from the UGM Central Library and also a lecturer in the Master of Library Science study program at the UGM Graduate School. Dr. Fira likened that the cooperation established by UGM with scientific work service providers is a “description”. Because the funds used by UGM come from students as well, therefore students are expected to be able to use the scientific work service providers to the fullest.

Apart from explaining each journal affiliated with the UGM Library, Dr. also provides tutorials using “advance search” at the UGM Library, because apparently there are still many students who do not know how to use the features on the UGM Library website.

Meanwhile, the second material was delivered by Haxa Sprijanto, S.I.Kom from the IT Section of the Library of the Faculty of Medicine, Community Forestry and Nursing UGM, with the title of using the Reference Management Tool. (SPs / Azrina, Arni)
