Yogyakarta, April 24th 2025 — A vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm and sportsmanship filled the air during the Home Tournament Badminton event held by the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) at GOR Lembah UGM. This internal event served as both a gathering and a healthy competition among the SPs UGM academic community.

The team of Joko and Amri delivered a consistent and strategic performance, defeated the Harjo/Fajar pair in the opening round and advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinal match, they continued their solid play, securing a spot in the final. With excellent coordination and sharp shots, Joko and Amri outplayed their opponents and emerged as the tournament champions.

Support from fellow SPs UGM staff and the friendly atmosphere made the tournament meaningful and heartwarming. More than just a competition, this event strengthened the camaraderie among faculty and staff within SPs UGM.

Congratulations to Team Joko and Amri on their victory! May the spirit of sportsmanship continue to inspire all members of SPs UGM to foster unity and positivity in the workplace.
