Doctoral Program of Extension and Development Communication

This study program aims to educate academics and professionals to comprehend the sustainable development paradigm, including studies of globalization and liberation, and the decentralization of community development by applying an integrated approach.

Successful community development across various sectors needs effective communication and education, so that individuals in communities where development is taking place can  benefit from the progress achieved. Students in this study program will be taught how to optimize communication services, empower communities, and apply development processes to help communities achieve a high quality of life and welfare.

The Extension and Development Communication Graduate Program delivers two focus of study:

Development Extension aims to convey the comprehension and mastery of a wide range of strategies on community empowerment, by focusing on group dynamics, social engineering and community change. This area of focus also uses social psychological and psychological appoaches to undertsanding the impact of development on society.

Development Communication aims to convey the comprehension and mastery of  development communications in wide range of fields, by focusing on business communication, organization communication, intercultural communication and public relations management programs which employ a wide range of communication strategies.
