The spirit of togetherness and hard work was evident at the opening of the 15th Lustrum of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held in the courtyard of the Balairung, UGM Central Office on July 12, 2024. One of the main highlights of the event was the sack race and bakiak race, which were participated in by various faculties and work units within UGM.

The School of Graduate Studies (SPs) UGM team demonstrated extraordinary cohesiveness and coordination, with representatives from SPs Berlian Belasuni, Junianto, and Pinandi Ari winning first place in the sack race. This victory not only brought pride to SPs UGM but also highlighted the importance of team spirit and collaboration in achieving success.

Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation of SPs UGM, expressed his pride in the achievements of the SPs team. “This victory is a testament to the excellent coordination, collaboration, and team spirit. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication shown by Berlian, Junianto, and Pinandi,” he said.

Cheers and support from the entire SPs UGM community added to the enthusiasm of the race participants. Their presence, dressed in various colors, created an atmosphere full of cheerfulness and camaraderie. This activity not only served as entertainment but also strengthened the bonds of friendship among the UGM academic community.

With this victory, the SPs UGM team hopes to maintain the spirit of togetherness and cooperation in various other activities. This victory also serves as motivation to continue to excel and give their best in the series of activities for the 15th UGM Lustrum.
