A warm atmosphere filled with togetherness marked the Graduation Ceremony for Graduate Programs, Period IV of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, held on Wednesday, July 22nd 2026, at the Auditorium of the Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). In addition to celebrating the achievements of the graduates, the event was enlivened by artistic performances presented by graduates and the Head of the Master’s Program in Performing Arts and Fine Arts Studies (PSPSR), Graduate School UGM.
The Chief of the PSPSR Master Program, Graduate School UGM, Dr. Raden Rara Paramitha Dyah Fitriasari, S.Ant., M.Hum., performed alongside Master’s students Delfin Febriansyah, Dani Ardiyawan, Rusnandi, Pratiwi Agustin, and Janur Pusparukmi in a dance performance entitled “TEMPOBORASI.”
The dance portrayed the collaborative spirit of Indonesian society, which is enriched by its diverse ethnicities, cultures, and traditions. The harmonious combination of movements, TEMPOBORASI symbolized unity, mutual respect, and the strength of togetherness amid diversity.
The dynamic choreography and expressive artistic performances captivated the audience and received enthusiastic appreciation from graduates, their families, faculty members, and invited guests. More than simply providing entertainment, the performance fostered a sense of togetherness that enriched the graduation ceremony.
The presentation of TEMPOBORASI, the Master’s Program in Performing Arts and Fine Arts Studies demonstrated the significant role of the arts in strengthening social bonds, celebrating academic achievements, and enhancing the atmosphere of this special milestone. The performance served as a reminder that academic success is not only celebrated with formal ceremonies but also through cultural expressions that reinforce the sense of community within the UGM Graduate School.
