Yogyakarta, June 26th 2026 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM Graduate School) welcomed a delegation from the Graduate School of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung on Friday (June 26th) in the Leadership Meeting Room on the second floor of the UGM Graduate School. The visit served as a networking opportunity and as a discussion forum for sharing best practices in graduate education management.
The delegation was received by the Graduate School’s leadership team, Chief of the Programs, expert staff, working group coordinators, and administrative staff. The meeting took place in a warm and interactive atmosphere, fostering the exchange of experiences and ideas for institutional development.
Several strategic issues were discussed during the visit, including strategies for recruiting international students, the development of online learning models, the implementation of the Doctor by Research program, and the strengthening of academic, managerial, and financial governance. The discussion also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on innovative approaches to deliver graduate education that are responsive to the evolving landscape of higher education.
This visit showed both institutions hope to broaden their perspectives on graduate education management and open opportunities for collaboration in academic activities, program development, and quality enhancement in higher education. The exchange of best practices is expected to create a positive contribution to strengthen the quality of graduate education at both institutions.
This visit is part of the UGM Graduate School’s ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-university partnerships and promote the continuous improvement of higher education on collaboration, innovation, and sustainable governance.
