Yogyakarta, February 27th, 2026 — Cadres of the Graduate School (SPs) actively participated in the Integrated Health Post (Posbindu) program at UGM during the month of Ramadan. In this implementation, Posbindu not only provided physical health screening services but also spiritual health support through counseling sessions. The presence of counseling services is expected to help members of the academic community maintain emotional and spiritual balance while fasting.

This activity reflects SPs’ commitment in supporting promotive and preventive health efforts within the campus environment. Despite taking place during the fasting month, the cadres remained enthusiastic in delivering health screening services. The Ramadan Posbindu serves as an important reminder of the need to maintain optimal physical condition while fasting. It also provides early detection of non-communicable disease risk factors, and education on maintaining a balanced diet during sahur and iftar, the importance of proper hydration, and engaging in light physical activities throughout Ramadan.

The active participation of SPs cadres in this Ramadan Posbindu initiative is expected to raise awareness of the importance of a holistic healthy lifestyle both physically, mentally and also strengthening solidarity within the UGM community. Through this activity, SPs reaffirms its commitment to fostering a healthy, productive campus environment that prioritizes collective well-being during this blessed month.
