Yogyakarta, September 26th 2025 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has once again achieved an outstanding international accomplishment. Two of its leading study programs, the Religious and Cross-cultural Master Program and the Inter-Religious Studies Doctoral Program have officially obtained Full International Accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). This accreditation is valid for five years, from September 5th 2025, to September 4th 2030.
The Religious and Cross-cultural Master program also received the FIBAA Premium Seal, an award granted to programs that demonstrate exceptional excellence in academic quality, governance, and international relevance.
Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School, expressed her high appreciation to the leadership and accreditation teams.
“This success is a testament to the Graduate School’s commitment to ensuring world-class quality in higher education and contribution to sustainable development,” she stated.
The attainment of FIBAA accreditation is expected to inspire the entire UGM Graduate School academic community to continuously enhance quality, strengthen international collaboration, and foster academic innovation that creates global impact.
This achievement will strengthen the academic reputation of UGM’s Graduate School on the international stage and serve a tangible contribution to the establishment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
