The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada once again welcomed a visitation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSPAK) as part of the field assessment for the Extension and Development Communication Master’s Program (PKP) on August 15th 2025 at the UGM Graduate School campus.

The visitation was conducted in a warm and constructive atmosphere, reflecting a strong commitment to continuously improving the academic quality, research, and governance of the study program. The assessors, Prof. Dr. Suwandi Sumartias, M.Si. and Prof. Dr. Dewi Kurniawati, M.Si., Ph.D., carried out a comprehensive evaluation, including reviewing academic documents, interviewing university leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni, as well as observing learning facilities and infrastructure at the PKP Master Program.

The Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed her appreciation for the presence of the LAMSPAK assessors. She emphasized that this visitation is a crucial momentum to ensure that the implementation of education in the PKP program meets both national and international quality standards.

“Through this visitation, we hope to gain constructive feedback for the development of academic quality and the improvement of services for students and society,” she remarked.

With this LAMSPAK visitation, the UGM Graduate School reaffirms its commitment to delivering higher education that is excellent, competitive, and relevant to the nation’s development needs, while also contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Strong Institutions.
