The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Gadjah Mada participated in the Workshop for Finalists of the Public Service Innovation Competition: Best Practices of Grahakara Grafika and Tegak SHE for Campus Community Empowerment, held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025. The event took place in Meeting Room 1, Smart and Green Learning Centre Building (Prof. Rooseno S), Faculty of Engineering UGM.

This workshop was initiated by the UGM Secretariat as part of the program to strengthen public relations functions within the university. Participants, on this occasion, received presentations directly from the Grahakara Grafika Team and the Tegak SHE Team, both of which are finalists in the university-level public service innovation competition. They presented best practices managed by the Faculty of Engineering UGM to improve services, empower, and manage the campus community more effectively and sustainably.

The SPs participation in this event is expected to enrich insights while opening opportunities to develop potential innovations in the field of public service. The presence of SPs also reflected its commitment to continuously synergize with various faculties and units at UGM in creating breakthroughs that provide tangible benefits, both for the academic community and for the wider society.

The workshop also featured interactive discussions and Q&A sessions, allowing participants to explore more deeply the experiences, challenges, and success strategies of the two finalist teams. The event concluded with a short tour around the Faculty of Engineering, which broadened participants’ understanding of innovation practices in the field.

Through this momentum, SPs UGM strives to strengthen the role of public relations, build collaborative networks, and encourage the emergence of innovative practices that support the improvement of institutional reputation.
