On August 12th 2025, the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) conducted the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the 2025 Performance Target Achievement (TCK) as well as the formulation of the 2026 TCK plan. This agenda also brought together the Graduate School’s Advisory Board, composed of alumni from various programs, to support the future development of the institution.
The Monev aimed to evaluate the achievements of higher education’s Ttridarma programs carried out throughout the year, covering education, research, community service, and academic governance. The evaluation was conducted comprehensively to identify strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement that can serve as the foundation for designing strategic programs in the coming year.
The presence of the Advisory Board, consisting of cross-disciplinary alumni, added strategic value to this activity. Alumni contributed critical insights and constructive feedback regarding curriculum relevance, research quality enhancement, strengthening international networks, and the Graduate School’s role in responding to social dynamics and national development. The forum also served as a platform for collaboration between alumni and their alma mater to reinforce the Graduate School’s contributions to society.
The Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized the significant role of alumni in enriching SPs’ academic policy direction. “The input from the Advisory Board is a valuable asset to ensure that TCK programs are not only adaptive to global developments but also relevant to national needs,” she stated.
The TCK 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation and the drafting of the 2026 TCK plan showed UGM Graduate School reaffirms its commitment to delivering higher education that is excellent, inclusive, and impactful for society.
