Yogyakarta, 12th June 2025 — The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a Curriculum Revision Finalization Workshop on 11th – 12nd June 2025 at the 5th Floor Auditorium of the UGM Graduate School. This event was part of the curriculum adjustment process in preparation for the 2025/2026 academic year, aiming to ensure the curriculum content aligns with developments in science and the needs of the job market.
The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration, and the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources. In her opening remarks, the Dean highlighted the importance of aligning the curriculum with the university’s strategic direction and national education policies, and also emphasizing the active role of all programs in developing an adaptive and responsive curriculum.
The event was attended by all study programs under the Graduate School, both Master and Doctoral. Over the two-day workshop, each program presented the results of their curriculum revisions based on the latest guidelines and engaged in inter-program discussions and synchronization to ensure consistency and alignment across curriculum structures.
The final curriculum meeting will be held on 20 June 2025, as a follow-up to this workshop . This meeting will serve as the forum for finalizing the curriculum documents before their official approval in July, which will then serve as the basis for teaching implementation and learning in the upcoming academic year.
