Magelang, August 1st 2025 — The series of recreational activities organized by the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) at Hotel Puri Asri, Magelang, concluded joyfully with an Employee Gathering session held in the afternoon. Taking place in the hotel main hall, this session marked the highlight of togetherness among all participants after an active morning of VW Safari and river rafting.

The Employee Gathering featured various team-based games designed to enhance communication, coordination, and cooperation among staff members from different units. The warm and laughter-filled atmosphere throughout the session demonstrated its effectiveness as a refreshing break from daily routines.

Several exciting games, including group balloon races, paper cup tower stacking, and team cheers, captured the attention and active participation of the attendees. Laughter, cheering, and sportsmanship filled the room, creating a scene far removed from the formal work environment.

The organizing committee also distributed a number of attractive door prizes for the participants who actively involved and fortunate during the games. These prizes served as tokens of appreciation for the enthusiasm and engagement shown throughout the event.

This session also brought together staff from various departments in randomly assigned groups, helping to expand internal networks and foster a more inclusive sense of camaraderie. The participation of unit leaders and committee members in the games added a sense of closeness, breaking down formal structural barriers.

The Employee Gathering was more than just entertainment—it served as a platform to build a stronger and more joyful foundation for teamwork. The event underscored the belief, with a spirit of togetherness and collaboration,  that a solid team spirit can be nurtured not only in the workplace but also through lighthearted and meaningful shared moments.
