The opening event of the 15th Lustrum of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held in the courtyard of the UGM Central Office Building, was attended by the entire UGM community and featured two traditional competitions: sack racing and bakiak racing.

These traditional competitions were held to rekindle the spirit, unity, and smiles of the UGM community, so they could enthusiastically welcome the 15th UGM Lustrum. The event was festive, with enthusiastic participation from various faculties, schools, and work units within Universitas Gadjah Mada.

The UGM Graduate School also enlivened these traditional competitions. Pinandi, Junianto, and Berlian Belasuni participated in the sack race, while Ulyn, Arep, and Amri joined the bakiak race. The entire Graduate School community was present to cheer and support the Graduate School teams during the competitions.
