Team Joko and Ali Claim 1st Place in the Final Badminton Match at the 41st Dies of SPs UGM

Yogyakarta (09/18) – The final badminton match celebrating the 41st anniversary of the Graduate School (SPs) of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) featured Team Joko and Ali facing off against Team Pambudi and Nuryono for the title of 1st and 2nd place. The closely contested match was ultimately won by Team Joko and Ali with a score of 3-1, making them the champions.

Meanwhile, Team Pambudi and Nuryono had to settle for 2nd place after putting up a fierce fight during four sets of spirited and sportsmanlike competition.

Ika Krisnadewi, S.Psi., M.Sc., Chief of the SPs UGM Administration Office, expressed her pride in the achievements of both teams and the sportsmanship displayed throughout the match. “We are very proud of the spirit and sportsmanship shown by the players. This final demonstrates that sports competitions like this not only showcase physical abilities but also strengthen the sense of togetherness among the academic community,” Ika Krisnadewi stated.

The final badminton match was lively and received high enthusiasm from the SPs academic community, who fully supported both teams. As part of the activities celebrating the 41st Dies of SPs UGM. This event aims to strengthen bonds within the campus and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Team Joko and Ali’s victory in the celebration of the 41st Dies of SPs UGM is expected to serve as a momentum to enhance togetherness, foster healthy competitive spirit, and build solidarity among all employees and the academic community of SPs UGM.
