Strengthening Academic Human Resources: Universitas Ciputra Explores Strategic Collaboration with SPs UGM and Doctoral Program in Tourism Studies

Yogyakarta, 14th May 2025 — The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) welcomed a visit from Universitas Ciputra to explore strategic collaboration opportunities in the academic field, particularly in human resource development through alumni recruitment and potential doctoral program partnerships.

The delegation from Universitas Ciputra included Poppy Indriawati Sujitno, S.H., M.H. (Vice Chief of Human Capital Management), Kinanthi Gusti Reina Ratri, S.TP., M.M. (Chief of Talent Acquisition Section), and Theresia Christina Octaviolan, S.Psi. (Talent Acquisition Officer).

UGM attendees included Drs. Hendrie Adji Kusworo, Ph.D., Chief of the Tourism Doctoral Program, Dr. Priyaji Agung Pambudi, Cooperation Coordinator at SPs UGM, and Prof. Dr. Tri Kuntoro Priyambodo, Quality Assurance Supervisor for the DTourism Doctoral Program.

The main focus of the discussion was the potential recruitment of graduates from the Tourism Doctoral Programs at SPs UGM as lecturers at Universitas Ciputra. The meeting also covered possibilities for broader collaboration involving current doctoral students in academic activities, joint research, and strengthening inter-university institutional networks.

The discussion atmosphere was open and highly collaborative. Both parties expressed their commitment to follow up the meeting with concrete partnerships aimed at advancing the quality of higher education and professionalism in the tourism sector in Indonesia.
