The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) organized a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development Workshop as part of its commitment to improving governance and the quality of administrative services. This intensive week-long activity took place from April 10 to 16, 2025, in the Executive Meeting Room of SPs UGM.

Each working unit was divided into groups and took turns presenting the SOP drafts they had developed. Each staff member responsible was given the opportunity to explain the proposed workflows and procedures.

Notably, the presentations were attended directly by the SPs UGM leaders, who actively provided input, guidance, and clarification to strengthen the substance and synchronization between units. The leaders main emphasis was on efficiency, accountability, and the importance of integrated systems on all lines of service.

This workshop serves as a strategic step in compiling SOP documents that are not only administrative but also practical and adaptable to day-to-day operations. With well-structured SOPs in place, services at SPs UGM are expected to become more optimal, transparent, and responsive to the needs of the academic community.
