The effort to improve health and wellness made the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) continue to be committed to organize Healthy Friday as part of the employee welfare improvement program. On Friday (07/02), SPs UGM held a joint yoga session which took place in the auditorium hallway on the 5th floor. This activity was attended by educational staff of SPs UGM and aimed to improve the physical and mental well-being of employees.

This yoga activity was guided by Apri Astuti, an experienced instructor who guided participants through various movements and breathing techniques that help relaxation and increase body flexibility. The participants seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed each session, which was designed not only to exercise physical fitness but also to reduce stress and improve focus at work.

One of the participants, who is an administrative staff at SPs UGM, said that this activity is very useful for those who work in front of computers every day. “For beginners like me, yoga in this session is still very easy to follow, the effect on the body is good, the mind is also relaxed because there is a session to get rid of negative thoughts and emotions,” said Irul.

It is expected with this activity to create a healthier work environment at SPs UGM. The Yoga Program on Friday Morning is expected to be an ongoing agenda for the welfare of all educational staff in SPs UGM.
