Received Visit from UIN Jakarta, SPs UGM Presents International Accreditation Achievements

Yogyakarta, November 8th 2024 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) recently welcomed a study visit from the Graduate School of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta. This visit aimed to deepen insights into human resources (HR) management and academic administration, with a particular focus on international accreditation achievements. A total of 22 administrative staff from UIN Jakarta attended, led by the Director of the Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, M.A.

Prof. Zulkifli shared that this visit was an effort to learn from the best practices applied at SPs UGM. “We aim to explore SPs UGM’s strengths, especially regarding its international accreditation achievements and proven academic management,” said Prof. Zulkifli in his opening remarks.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., who provided an overview of SPs UGM’s profile and contributions to global education. This was followed by a discussion session with Dr. Tri Kuntoro Priyambodo, M.Sc., SPs UGM’s Cooperation Coordinator’s explanation on the process of preparing accreditation documents and implementing globally recognized policies. Additionally, Dr. techn. Khabib Mustofa, S.Si., M.Kom., Vice Dean of Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, shared strategies on financial management and HR development regulations applied at SPs UGM.

At the conclusion, participants from UIN Jakarta and SPs UGM took a group photo to capture this moment of synergy. This visit is expected to strengthen collaboration between SPs UGM and UIN Jakarta in enhancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
