Students of the Environmental Management Master Program (MPL), Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada conducted an industrial visit to Environesia on February 26th 2026. This activity was part of the learning process in the Environmental Management course, aimed at providing students with direct insight into environmental management practices in the professional world.
Students, during the visit, received an overview on the business processes in the environmental services sector, starting from the planning and management of environmental projects to operational strategies supporting various environmental management and monitoring activities. In addition, students had the opportunity to visit an environmental laboratory to observe firsthand the facilities and analytical processes used to support environmental studies and management activities.
The discussion sessions and presentations with Environesia’s professional team provided students with insights into the challenges and opportunities in developing businesses and services in the environmental sector. This activity is expected to strengthen students’ understanding of the connection between environmental management concepts learned in the classroom and their implementation in real-world practice.
The Environmental Management Master Program, with this activity, hopes that students will develop a more comprehensive perspective on environmental management practices and better prepare themselves to contribute professionally in supporting sustainable development in the future.
