The event was conducted online via the Zoom platform and began promptly at 10:00 AM (WIB). Attended by faculty members, students from various cohorts, and the new students. The event served as a significant moment to kick off the academic year with a spirit of togetherness and an introduction to the core values that will serve as the foundation for learning in the Bioethics program.

Dr. Dra. Retna Siwi Padmawati, M.A., Chief of the Bioethics Program, delivered a welcoming speech in which she congratulated the new students and emphasized the importance of understanding and internalizing bioethical principles in both academic and social life.

“Welcome to the Bioethics family. Here, we don’t just study theory — we also build morally responsible character to encounter various life challenges,” she stated.

The event continued with an introduction session featuring faculty members and teaching staff from the Bioethics Program, who shared their enthusiasm and commitment in supporting the new students throughout their learning journey.
