Yogyakarta, February 5th 2025 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held its Annual Work Meeting with the theme Reflection on 2024 and Resolutions for 2025 at the 5th Floor Auditorium. The event was attended by Study Program Managers, Study Program Quality Assurance Managers, Lecturers, and Administrative Staff.
The Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of evaluating the performance of 2024 to identify achievements and challenges faced in her opening remarks. Additionally, this meeting aimed to formulate concrete strategies and action plans to achieve the Target Capaian Kinerja (TCK) for 2025, focusing on strengthening education, research, collaboration, and community service.
The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., stated that the overall achievement of the Graduate School in 2024 had exceeded the targets set by the university. However, almost all TCK indicator targets for 2025 have been increased, he emphasized.
The meeting also discussed accreditation achievements in 2024 and strategies for renewing study program accreditations expiring in 2025, both at national and international levels. Study Program Management Units (Unit Pengelola Program Studi – UPPS), study program chiefs, study program quality assurance units, and academic development teams must collaborate to maintain and enhance institutional quality.
The Dean also urged all study programs to consistently update the necessary data for PD-Dikti monitoring, as the latest government regulations regarding accreditation through PD-Dikti supervision have become stricter.
This annual work meeting serves as a crucial moment for the Graduate School of UGM to devise more solid and innovative strategies to tackle academic challenges in 2025. With a spirit of unity and strong commitment, UGM is expected to further contribute to the advancement of education at both national and global levels.
