The Population Program covers the themes of quantity control, quality development and productivity, expanding the scope of the national program so that population control becomes the responsibility of every Indonesian citizen. The university needs to provide thinking researchers and scholars in the field of population studies who are capable of playing a role as agents of change. The Population Studies Program is offered in response to these needs, and aims to educate scholars who:
a. Are able to recognize, observe, and perform approaches that employ scientific reasoning to find solutions for population problems. b. Possess the ability and skills necessary in the field of population studies to achieve an appropriate position upon graduation. c. Possess the requisite knowledge to develop scientific approaches within higher education. d. Are able to plan and carry out research that contributes to the development of population studies and the solution of population problems. e. Possess a broad base of experience and a scientific background in the field of population studies.
