Dean of UGM Graduate School Welcomes the Success of the UGM Graduate School Family Recreation in Bromo and Malang

Malang (13/09/2024) – The Dean of Universitas Gadjah Mada Graduate School (SPs UGM), Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed her happiness over the success of the UGM Graduate School Family Recreation, which took place in Bromo and Malang. The three-day event (August 12-14, 2024) was attended by the entire academic community, staff, and the extended family of SPs UGM in an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.

In her speech, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D. emphasized the importance of such recreational activities as a means to strengthen relationships and reinforce the bonds of kinship among employees and their families. “I am very pleased to see the enthusiasm and happiness that emerged during this event. This recreation is not just a form of entertainment but also an opportunity to reflect on the togetherness that has been built and to strengthen the work spirit within SPs UGM,” she said.

On this occasion, the Dean also expressed her appreciation to the organizing committee for their hard work in arranging the event, ensuring it ran smoothly and joyfully. “I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire committee for organizing this event so well. I hope activities like this can continue to be held in the future,” she added.

The recreation concluded with a warm moment of togetherness where all participants sang the song “Kemesraan”. Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D. hopes that through this activity, all participants will return with renewed energy and be ready to face work challenges more effectively.
