Biotechnology applies advanced molecular biology techniques that integrate science and engineering principles to produce biotechnological products and services. Since 2008, the Biotechnology Program has implemented a new curriculum which focuses on four areas in the biotechnology field: Health Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, and Environmental Biotechnology.
