On Wednesday (6/8), the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) once again held a technical training aimed at administrative staff, titled “Asset Administration Training.” This training was considered important as it aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of administrative staff, particularly in asset management.
The event was opened by Ika Krisnadewi, S.Psi., M.Sc., Chief of the SPs UGM Administration Office. Ika emphasized that this training was organized to improve the competence of administrative staff in asset administration. This includes procedures for recording, disposal, reporting, and re-inventory of institution assets, as well as how to record new assets and report damaged or unused assets.
SPs collaborated with the UGM Directorate of Assets to deliver the training sessions. Ari Kusmiran, S.Kom., M.Ec.Dev., along with his team, represented the Directorate of Assets as the resources. Ari explained the regulations on asset administration applicable within UGM. He also actively engaged in interactive discussions with the participants. Administrative staff attending the training were eager to raise questions regarding issues or cases they commonly encountered in the field. Participants were able to gain a clearer understanding by consulting with expert resources on how to address similar issues in the future.
The training ran smoothly. SPs hopes that through this training, administrative staff can enhance their understanding and skills, particularly in the field of asset administration. SPs also hopes to strengthen collaboration and partnerships with other units within the university, especially the Directorate of Assets.
