
UGM Graduate School (August 5th) – A total of 59 applicants for the Partial Scholarship at the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Graduate School, consisting of 12 men and 47 women, participated in online interview selection. This process aimed to determine the scholarship amount in the form of a tuition fee (UKT) discount granted by the UGM Graduate School to Master’s students for the Odd Semester of 2025.
All applicants were divided into five interview groups. The selection took place on July 29th 2025, for Group One, and on July 30th 2025, for Groups Two, Three, Four, and Five.
Following the interviews, a finalization meeting was held, resulting in 31 students being awarded scholarships, receiving UKT discounts of 25%, 50%, or 75%, depending on their respective study programs. The selection results were announced on the morning of July 31st 2025, in each group’s WhatsApp group.
Group One was led by the Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Siti Malkhamah, M.Sc., Ph.D, accompanied by Dr. Priyaji Agung Pambudi, S.Pd., M.Si. (lecturer), Ika Krisnadewi, S.Psi., M.Sc. (Head of Administration), and PIC Arni Wistriatun, with eight participants.
Group Two was led by the Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration, Prof. Dr. Ir. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr, assisted by Dr. Samsul Asri, S.IP., M.Fil.I. (lecturer), and PIC Arfika Istari, with eight participants.
Group Three was led by the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, accompanied by Dody Wibowo, S.IP., MA, Ph.D. (lecturer) and PIC Yeti Susilowati, with eight participants.
Group Four was led by Dr. Hilda Ismail, M.Si., Apt., former Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration (2012–2016), assisted by Ahmad Suparmin, SP, M.Agr., Ph.D. (lecturer), and PIC Burhanul Aqil, with seven participants.
Group Five was led by Dr. Priyaji Agung Pambudi, S.Pd., M.Si. (lecturer), Susanto, S.T., M.Sc., and Ana Anggraini, M.Hum. as assistants, with PIC Reynata Tri Damayanti, and eight participants.
“This scholarship is awarded to students who are high-achieving and economically disadvantaged,” said the Dean during the interviews.
The scholarship is open for applications each year during the Odd Semester and is intended for prospective students applying to study programs or areas of interest within the UGM Graduate School. Applicants can register for the scholarship after obtaining proof of registration or a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from one of the study programs at the Graduate School.
This initiative aligns with the implementation of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
