Eka Nurhasanah, a master student in Religion and Cross-Cultural Studies with a focus on Islamic Economics, has successfully won the Best Presenter award at the 7th International Seminar in Islamic Studies (INSIS) 2025,  in a hybrid format held at the Selangor Islamic University, Malaysia, from January 21st to February 1st 2025.

The seminar, themed “Islamic Synergy in Education, Economics, and Technology for a Globalized Future,” was attended by academics from various countries.

On this occasion, Eka Nurhasanah, along with her team members Azizah Mudrikah and Muhammad Ady Mahfuzh, presented a paper titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Reducing Non-Performing Financing (NPF) in the Islamic Banking Industry.”
The team consisted of three members: Eka Nurhasanah, Azizah Mudrikah, and Muhammad Ady Mahfuzh.

The award was given based on the quality of the presentation, the selection process, and its relevance to the conference theme.

Participation in this seminar was not only an opportunity to publish research findings, but also a platform for academic discussions and collaborations.
It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a new perspective on the application of technology in the Islamic finance sector.
