(7/1/25) The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) remains committed to support the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education, particularly in enhancing scientific publications. As part of this effort, SPs UGM routinely organizes research and community service grant programs aimed for its faculty and students. These programs are expected to foster a conducive research atmosphere and produce outstanding research beneficial to the broader community.
SPs UGM has taken a strategic step by upgrading its digital system for managing research and community service grants for the year 2025. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Collaboration, Prof. Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., expressed his support for this initiative. “A more integrated digital system is expected to enhance efficiency, broaden access to information, and reach more competent researchers,” he stated.
As part of this system enhancement, the SPs Grants Team invited the Research Directorate team of UGM to provide a detailed explanation of the applicable grant procedures, including application, reporting, and evaluation mechanisms. This guidance aims to ensure that the grant processes are conducted with more transparency and accountability.
Additionally, this system upgrade seeks to expand the participation of faculty and students in grant programs. More researchers are expected to contribute, thereby improving the quality of research and scientific publications within SPs UGM with the new digital system
“Our hope is that this system upgrade not only simplifies administrative processes but also encourages the emergence of new innovations from the conducted research,” added Prof. Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr.
This initiative is a tangible manifestation of SPs UGM’s commitment to fostering a more dynamic, innovative, and impactful academic atmosphere to address global challenges in education and research.
