Yogyakarta (11/10/2024) – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) conducted Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Community Service Grants (PkM) for 2024 as an important step in ensuring the success of PkM programs. This activity aims to evaluate and provide constructive feedback before researchers submit their final reports according to the established schedule. Monev also focuses on monitoring the progress of the outputs produced, such as documentary videos/three-minute thesis presentations, news related to the SDGs, articles, and various other outputs.

On this occasion, one of the PkM researchers, Ir. Nanung Danar Dono, S.Pt., M.P., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this Monev. “Through this Monev, we gain a lot of insights regarding the challenges faced during the program implementation. The feedback we received is very helpful in refining the community service program and improving the quality of the reports we will prepare,” he stated.

This Monev is a means of evaluation and expected to provide positive impacts for the development of community service programs in the future. “I hope this Monev has a significant impact on the improvement of PkM programs and helps us address the challenges in the field,” added Pak Nanung.

SPs UGM hopes that all Community Service programs’ implementation, conducted by researchers, can continue to provide significant benefits to the community. Additionally, this program is expected to support the achievement of academic and social goals of the university, especially in advancing knowledge and community welfare.
