The National Seminar titled “Transformation of Extension, Community Empowerment, and Development Communication in Preparing Resilient Human Resources Towards Indonesia Gold” held by the Extension and Development Communication Program, Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada (PKP SPs UGM) on Thursday (8/8) offered a golden opportunity for all participants to build collaborations possibilities. The seminar attracted over 200 attendees, including UGM students as well as students and lecturers from various universities across Indonesia, along with various practitioners.
In addition to presenting materials, the seminar served as a platform for disseminating research results. A total of 119 scientific papers were submitted and ready for presentation. During the presentation sessions, each participant had the chance to meet and establish connections with others while expanding their knowledge.
“The presentation experience yesterday was very interesting because we met with friends from various universities in Indonesia who presented their papers excellently, with very interesting new ideas that we could learn from them,” said one of the seminar participants.
The Graduate School hopes that this event will serve as a starting point for collaborations that support the realization of the three pillars of higher education: teaching, research, and community service.
