UGM Graduate School Welcomes Audience of The Infantry Weaponry Center (Pussenif), with Human Resource Development Collaboration Discussion

Yogyakarta, August 9th, 2024 – The Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (SPs UGM) welcomed an audience from the Infantry Weaponry Center (Pussenif) at the SPs Leadership Meeting Room. The audience was warmly received by Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, along with Ir. Rini Dharmastiti, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN Eng, Chief of the Biomedical Engineering master program, and the SPs UGM Cooperation Team.

During the meeting, Colonel Infantry Ruddy Hermawan, S.H., S.I.P., Director of Research and Development at Pussenif, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Marzuki S., S.T., Chief of the Research and Development Division at Pussenif, and Sergeant Major Galih Bagus Purnama, S.T., expressed their intention to explore potential collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service. Colonel Ruddy emphasized that this collaboration is expected to enhance the quality of human resources (HR) at Pussenif, particularly in the development of science and technology relevant to military needs.

Dr. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., welcomed this initiative and hoped that the meeting could open up broader collaboration opportunities, not only in the Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program but also in other study programs at SPs UGM. “We hope this collaboration can improve the quality of both institutions involved, UGM and Pussenif, in a joint effort to advance education and research beneficial to the nation,” he said.ds

Both parties agreed to maintain communication and coordination to achieve shared goals in HR development and innovation in the fiel of Education, Research, and Community Service.
